Near the town of Monroe's largest statue of Christ in the United States. He has been sculpted from the chest and shoulders andhis head tilted toward the sky.The sculpture, erected in September 2004, has almost 19 meters high and weighs over 7 tons. It was designed by Brad Corieland sculpted James Lynch.
The statue is made of wood and Styrofoam, which were mounted on a steel structure. The whole is covered with fiberglass andresin.
