Googleplex is the headquarters of Google in Mountain View, California. Located in Silicon Valley, which is considered to be the center of American industry, new technologies, directly adjacent to the headquarters of companies such as Alza, the Mozilla Foundation and Microsoft.


Work on the complex was launched in 1994, and completed it in 1997. Worked on the project Silion Graphics Inc. company. (SGI)architecture firms in San Francisco and the city of Mountain View.


The project aimed to develop a complex of buildings designated for corporate headquarters, which harmonized with public parks.Built for this purpose underground parking for over 2,000 vehicles, thus enabling the creation of open space.
